The client:

Sempiterno is a fine wine produced from Tannat grapes by Vinícola Gheller, located in Serra Gaúcha, Brazil. Known for its expressive character and refined quality, Sempiterno received gold medals at the “Grande Prova de Vinhos do Brasil” in 2018 and at the “Prêmio Vinhos do Brasil” in 2019.

The need:

Following critical acclaim, Gheller Winery and SUNUP sought to create a label that embodied the excellence and timelessness of the wine. The goal was to develop an identity as iconic and enduring as the wine itself.

An identity that would resonate with sophisticated consumers and reflect the premium quality of the Tannat grape.

The solution:

SUN UP/ WS DESIGN designed the label and art direction for Sempiterno, translating the wine's name—meaning "eternal"—into a visual language based on elegance and permanence. The result is a refined and timeless label that elevates the product on the shelf and reinforces its position in the high-quality wine market. The design not only aligns with the wine's award-winning reputation but also reinforces its emotional and aesthetic appeal to the most discerning connoisseurs.
